New Biz Oly: Vital Rejuvenation
Introducing you to new locally-owned businesses…
VITAL REJUVENATION
Patricia Sylwester, MD, and Michael Farley met three years ago when Patricia was still running the Pacific Wellness Clinic, an urgent-care facility in Lacey. Michael was working as a yoga teacher, nutritionist and personal trainer, and Patricia had begun her transition away from ‘after-illness treatment’ to preventive health care and anti-aging regenerative medicine.
“Our knowledge bases were complimentary,” Patricia recalls. Patricia and Michael married, and now, Michael smiles, “Every moment counts.” Uniting the services each offers in the name of lasting aesthetic and regenerative skin and body health, the couple opened Vital Rejuvenation in a beautifully decorated, spacious and modern suite of rooms overlooking Budd Bay in the Smythe Building last April.
Patricia is the lead medical person operating the clinic’s Sciton laser while Michael provides clients with diet assistance, pharmaceutical grade vitamin supplementation and exercise regimens. Before-and-after pictures show that the results of their promise to ‘rejuvenate your skin and revitalize your life’ are quite remarkable and highly successful.
“The skin, which is the body’s largest organ, needs careful treatment. Laser therapy works to stimulate the healing systems of skin and body,” Michael says, “through regeneration, not operation, repairing acne scarring, sagging, wrinkling, spotting and sun damage by rebuilding collagen, causing the skin to respond in a positive way by building stronger tissue.”
Patricia adds, “Laser treatments for the skin range from shallow to deep, depending upon the need, to heal and reduce visible signs of aging and environmental damage and to resurface skin. Laser treatments can provide permanent hair reduction. We also offer lifestyle management for any age to help people recover from the detrimental habits of a lifetime, as well as hormone therapy, Eminence Organic Skin Care products, and medical consultations. First consultations for aesthetic and medical concerns are free of charge to assess the needs of individuals and their goals. Then we begin a course of healing specific to the client’s needs, with a minimum of three visits to get going and a regular follow-up.”
“Clients must make a commitment to lifestyle change. Ours is a holistic approach to health. To begin, we do comprehensive testing of blood, urine, saliva, and blood sugar to check hormonal balances. This treatment is not covered by insurance,” Michael continues, “but it’s a wise investment to put money into permanent deep changes that offer profound beneficial healing and self-esteem. Clients are very happy with the results.”
Michael says, “We want a permanent relationship with people. It’s not about vanity. It’s about health!”
