The Mailer in Question

In the comments thread under the recent editorial (“Examining the myths about low-barrier shelter” 10/30/13), I made reference to “mailers like the garbage most of us received yesterday”. Many people have told me they did not receive this mailer, so I’m guessing it was sent to a targeted audience (only Eastside Neighborhood? Only low-barrier shelter operators? who knows…). Anyway, since it constitutes a very solid example of the rhetoric I was talking about, I figured I should probably subject the rest of you to it too. It may make you want to cry and throw up at the same time. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
